Double nationality one of which is that of a European economic area member state

“Among our performers, a dancer has double nationality, Canadian and British. Does she need a work permit if she has a European Community passport?”
No. She does not need a residence or work permit.
The dancer can indeed cite her British nationality. As a national from a member state in the European Economic Area, she is exempted from applying for residence and work permits. She can therefore travel, reside and work in France with no restrictions other than being in possession of a valid passport or identity papers proving she is a citizen of the European Economic Area.
