Why a website providing information on hosting foreign artists in France ?

For several years now, CAGEC has specialized in providing information on hosting foreign artists and professionals by offering training sessions, publishing information in La lettre de l’entreprise culturelle and by giving personalized answers to questions on this theme from players in the French cultural sector.

Bolstered by this experience and with a desire to continue this role as an information provider, we have created the website www.artistes-etrangers.com. The site is made freely available thanks to the support of the Department of International Affairs of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication.

Indeed, the creation of this site is part of the Ministry’s long-term plan to improve the welcome and working conditions offered to foreign artists and professionals who come to work in France. That is why, in parallel with measures initiated by the Ministry intended to facilitate the reception of artists and professionals in France by simplifying procedures for entering the country and for dealing with fiscal and social obligations, this site now provides all of France’s cultural players with reliable legal information necessary to prepare in advance the best possible conditions for hosting these professionals : information files on different subjects, legal precedents, useful links, etc... But the goal of this site is to provide even more : to answer your specific questions on this subject in the legal, fiscal or social sectors.
